MARLENA LEONARD
About The Artist
Ms. Leonard, a native of Poland, has lived in the US since 1977. She is currently based in the Berkshires. Encourged by her artistic mother, she drew and painted as soon as she could hold a brush. She studied art and drawing during her architectural and interior design training.
In addition to watercolor medium she also works with chaulk pastels. The images she creates have a dreamy quality to them, with soft edges, where shapes and lush colors flow into one another.
Over the years Marlena's art has been exibited in several Berkshire galleries, and her work can be found in many private collections in California, Florida, New York City, Boston.
